Your shopping list, priced at every supermarket.

Comparing one product at a time won’t tell you where tonight’s dinner is cheapest. Recipeasy prices the whole list at each chain near you, with the products you actually buy, and puts the cheapest first.

How it works

Connect Pricer

Pricer is a free New Zealand price tracker. Connect it once and choose the stores you shop at.

01

Ingredients become products

Each ingredient is matched to a real product at every chain. Swap any match for the brand your household buys.

02

See what dinner costs

The list shows the total and the cost per serve at each supermarket, counting the whole packs you buy, not just the spoonful you use.

03

Fill the cart

On a computer, send the list to the cheapest chain’s online cart in one go with Pricer for Chrome.

Common questions

Which supermarkets are compared?

Woolworths (formerly Countdown), Pak’nSave, New World and FreshChoice, at the stores you choose in Pricer.

How current are the prices?

Prices come from Pricer and are refreshed every night.

Why is a different supermarket cheapest on different nights?

Each chain is cheaper on different things. A dinner built on fresh meat can be cheapest at one chain and a pantry pasta at another, which is why Recipeasy prices every list instead of naming one cheapest supermarket.

Do I need a Pricer account?

Only for prices. Pricer is free. Without it, Recipeasy still plans dinner and builds the shopping list, just without prices.

Does it cost anything?

No. Recipeasy and Pricer are both free.
